Who we are
Most builds fail in the gaps — between the architect and the framer, the framer and the finish carpenter, the schedule and the weather. We named the company for the fix.
Unified Contractors runs new construction, remodels and restoration under one superintendent, one schedule and one line-item budget. Our framing, finish carpentry and millwork crews are in house, so the people who set your structure are the people who trim it out. When something moves — and at 7,000 feet, something always moves — you hear it from us first, with the cost and the schedule impact already worked out.
We build in a place with a hundred inches of snow, a short season and unforgiving inspections. That shapes everything: how we detail a roof, how we sequence a foundation pour in October, and why we would rather tell you no in the first meeting than discover it in the third month.
What we do
Different scopes, identical process. The same superintendent, the same line-item bid and the same crews, whether we are pouring a foundation or opening a load-bearing wall.

Kitchens, baths, whole-floor reconfigurations and additions that read as though they were always part of the house — not bolted on afterward.

Water, fire, ice-dam and settlement damage put right. We also restore Old Town cabins and historic properties with period-correct detail.

Five stages, each with a deliverable you can actually read — not a vague promise to keep you posted.
We meet at the property. We look at grade, access, exposure and utilities, and we talk plainly about what the lot will and will not allow. You leave that first meeting with a realistic range, not a sales pitch.
We work alongside your architect and designer — or introduce you to ours. Selections, structural approach and long-lead items get resolved on paper, where changing them is still inexpensive.
You receive a line-item bid with real allowances, a trade-by-trade schedule, and the assumptions behind both. Nothing is buried in a lump sum you cannot interrogate.
One superintendent owns your project start to finish. You get weekly progress notes with photos, and a single person to call — never a chain of subcontractors pointing at each other.
We walk the house with you, build the punch list together, and close it out before you move in. Our workmanship warranty runs a full year past substantial completion, and we answer the phone after it expires.
Client reviews
We are collecting written reviews from recent clients rather than publishing anything we cannot stand behind.
